Projects, services or hourly — which should I choose?

• Fixed-price project with milestones — best when you know the result you want. Split the work into milestones and pay each one when it is delivered.
• Ready-made service — best for well-defined tasks (an audit, a landing page, a set of icons). Pick a package with a fixed price and delivery time.
• Hourly contract — best for ongoing work or when the scope will change. Agree a rate and a weekly limit; you pay weekly invoices for the hours logged.

All three are protected by escrow.
